Conflict Free Diamonds - our Guarantee

At Charisma Loyal, we know that our customers care about where their diamonds come from, and we share this concern with you. Every diamond we sell is certified conflict-free under the Patriot Act, the Kimberley Process, and United Nations resolutions. Our internal guidelines exceed these official requirements: We have binding contracts with our suppliers that guarantee that the diamonds they offer us for sale comply with all applicable laws and are certified as conflict-free. We polish the diamonds ourselves, which are members of the professional diamond trade.

Kimberley Process Compliance and America's Patriot Act

The United Nations General Assembly established the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) in 2003 to prevent conflict-related diamonds from entering the diamond market. All KPCS governments must certify that rough diamonds come from sources known to be conflict-free. To extend the KPCS to include polished diamonds, the World Diamond Council has placed a guarantee system to ensure polished diamonds come from a conflict-free raw source. Polished diamonds sold in the US must comply with the Patriot Act and US Treasury Department sanctions for overseas property control. Every US dealer must ensure Kimberley compliance or face penalties by Homeland Security, the US Department of Justice, and the US Treasury Department.
